In 2021, the Chemical Leaders team began developing a project to create a manufacturing process for tartaric acid (Food Additive E334). The product is used not only in the food industry as an acidity regulator and antioxidant in the production of canned food, jams, jellies, and various confectionery products, as well as in winemaking as an acidifier, but also in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries and in analytical chemistry.

Planned result
The development of the project for the manufacture of domestic tartaric acid is aimed at reducing dependence on imports and improving food safety.
